Web Design: MindWorks Clinical Psychology had a placeholder web page providing contact information, but no content. An informative W3C-compliant, CSS-styled XHTML site was designed with clean markup and optimized search engine information for more effective aggregation. Traffic to the site increased and contact because of the site rose dramatically.
Comprehensive Sign Design: Designed an understated sign package for Northern Virginia community Stone Ridge that served directional, amenity and marketing purposes. The simple and versatile design addresses all needs and community branding, and has won the MAME award for Best Community Signage for four years running.
Marketing Sign Design: Integrated a series of marketing signs reflecting ad campaigns for Leeland Station in Stafford County, VA. The signs were recognizable, effective and easily updated due to their component construction, contributing to FABA and MAME award wins.
Sales Collateral Design: Concept and conversion of the 1600+ document library of sales collateral for List Services Corporation from print-only 1–color files to secure, portable, cross-platform PDF format, making the company among the first in the industry to adopt the print and internet friendly file format, allowing for fast, easy updating, generation and distribution or printing of sales collateral.
Pitch and Presentation Consultation: Consulting for educational software start–up, A Parliament of Owls, LLC, giving marketing advice and freelance design, providing a branded look, standardized elements and a loose campaign and marketing plan, allowing investors to see numbers and complex visuals together in a well-conceived business plan and proposal. This approach has already raised significant seed money without the prohibitive expense of a marketing salary or advertising agency contract.
